Human Resources Assistant
Description of Position: Responsible for accurately entering and maintaining employee’s information in employee’s database. Enter and update employee benefits. Prepare documents for and attend unemployment hearings. Assist with entering COBRA information. Prepare FMLA documents as needed and track information. Assist with onboarding as needed. Provide clerical support to human resource department, provide assistance and support to company personnel, and participate and assist in audits.
Education Requirements: Some college preferred.
Experience Required: Over three (3) years’ experience preferred. Knowledge of various software programs, and the ability to focus on repetitious data.
Position Reports to: Human Resource Director
Additional Information: Shared office environment. Must be able to focus and block out distractions. Ability to organize must be detail orientated. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background checks.
