GROUP HOME MANAGER
TradeWinds Services, Inc, Residential Group Home department has a full-time position with flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. The House Manager is responsible for assisting the QIDP in client healthcare/nutrition and household management for a group home of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities include client finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and staffing. Must have complete knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, communicate, and enforce them to staff. Must be able to train, coach, assign duties, meet goals and department expectations and encourage others. Key to this position is time management, exceptional oral, written and organizational skills. House Manager must also provide 16 hours per week of direct service and have a cell phone.
Prefer college degree or coursework in related fields such as Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work. The right person will have compassion and one-year plus experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age and have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years. Must be able to pass drug screenings and background checks.
$39,680 annually plus benefits: paid training, medical, dental, vision, vacation & sick time, holiday pay, AFLAC, 401K & access to a 24/7 gym.
